We are hiring a new postdoc at the Quantitative Fisheries Center at MSU to work on a project related to grass carp control. In particular, we’re in the middle of the adaptive management process for this, so there would be some field work related to the experimental control efforts, using the data collected to update the population model / consequences step for the decision making process, and working with managers around the basin to collect other data and run workshops (1 per year). In addition, the candidate would be working with acoustic telemetry data collected that will also inform control efforts. Please see the attached flyer for info on applying. Thanks!
