The Department of geography & environment at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, is looking for two teaching assistants who will carry out doctoral research on a topic of their choice within political / cultural geography. Preference
will be given to candidates wishing to carry out research on the Global South and/or in visual studies, reflecting the research interests of new appointments within our Faculty.
French essential (teaching is carried out in French!).

Le département de géographie de l’Université de Genève recrute deux assistant.e.s doctorat.e.s. Seront privilégiés parmi les bons dossiers ceux qui présentent une orientation vers la géographie culturelle et politique et le Global South,
ou vers les études visuelles.
Les candidat-e-s participeront à l’animation d’ateliers ou de séminaires du Bachelor ou Master en géographie (entre 3 ou 4h par semaine) dans les domaines de la géographie culturelle, urbaine et politique.
Ils-elles devront rédiger une thèse de doctorat en géographie sous la direction d’un-e professeur-e du département.
Les postes sont à pourvoir à 80%, sur une durée maximale de 5 ans.
