Has limited resources ever prohibited your library from reaching underserved populations? If so, you are not alone and this conference is designed for you. Register today for the Thursday, February 28 online conference, Open Doors: Reaching Underserved Populations. 

 

Kicking off the conference is  Michele A. L. Villagran, consultant, presenter, and founder of Cultural Co LLC. Her keynote will explore how cultural intelligence makes a difference in the information profession and asks the question, "are you culturally competent?"

 

 

A variety of peers and experts will present a diverse range of topics. Each time slot offers three different session options. A sampling of available sessions include:

  • Collection Development Resources on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity
  • Dementia Friendly Kansas City
  • Measuring Your Impact on Under-served Populations with PLA's Project Outcome
  • Sensory Programming for Children 

Amigos Library Services members are invited to attend ALL online conferences FREE (registration required)! Non-members can enjoy early-bird pricing through February 15.
