Dear Professor,

We at Mathan, the Indian studeng organisation on campus, are organizing an event to showcase the ‘unity in diversity’ in India, in collaboration with SPAC and UT museum. We will be showcasing diversity in language, food, everyday attire, religion, culture, art, and architecture. This event will also discuss the national identity and unity of India. There will be fun activities like learning Bollywood dance steps, printing names in different Indian languages, Indian powder painting( Rangoli). Free snacks will be provided for the audience.
Date: 02/15/2019
Time: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Venue: Frank H. McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture

UT museum is also showcasing a special exhibition ('Many Visions, Many Versions') on Indian folk arts. Overall we think this event will give students a new perspective about India and South Asian culture.
We would be happy if you could attend the event and grateful if you spread the word to the students who might be interested in this event.
