Currently, the E-verify website is down due to the government shutdown. Please continue to process I-9s as normal. You will be informed if any corrections are needed. The employee is allowed to start work on their prospective hire date. Once the website is back up, we will inform you that they have been e-verified. Please go ahead and continue to process the hi hire paperwork as normal. We will enter the hire paperwork to ensure em employees are paid on time.
