Subject: Educators Hall of Honor Scholarship

 

Dear GSE Department Heads,

 

The Office of Advising & Student Services is currently accepting nominations for the Educators Hall of Honor scholarship. This scholarship has historically been awarded to a Ph.D student from programs within the Bailey Graduate School of Education. The scholarship provides a one-time award for $5,000. This scholarship amount has increased from $1,000 to $5,000 based on the size of the endowment. 

 

The nomination application must include the following:

  1. Nomination letter from a CEHHS faculty member 
  2. Current resume or curriculum vitae of the nominee
  3. Photograph of the nominee 

 

Application materials need to be sent to Laura Brown at [log in to unmask] or 332 Bailey Education Complex by Wednesday, February 6, 2019. 

 

A committee will be formed to review the application materials. Candidates for this award will be judged using the following award criteria:

 

The selected recipient will be invited to attend the Educators Hall of Honor reception on Thursday, April 11, 2019, 6pm at the Holiday Inn, Worlds Fair Park. More information about the EHOH can be found at this link http://cehhs.utk.edu/educators-hall-of-honor/
