We’ll talk about what’s new in 2019 including:
New Deadline: January 31, 2019
New Maximum Award Amounts: Up to $10,000 for grants to improve general preservation practices. Institutions in federally declared disaster
areas can also use funds for conservation treatment, disaster planning, and recovery and mitigation activities. The $10,000 level also includes the hiring of consultants to undertake preservation assessments and offer education and training, who may be accompanied
by an advanced preservation graduate student or recent graduate of a preservation program.
Up to $15,000 for grants to support activities related to American history collections that may be a part of the United States 250th
anniversary coming up in 2026.
