Dear all,

We are excited to launch a new international and interdisciplinary Masters programme in Nordic Urban Planning Studies, starting in September 2019. Could you please draw this to the attention of any potentially interested students?

This is a unique opportunity to study for a joint two-year degree at the universities of Roskilde (Denmark), Malmö (Sweden) and Tromsø (The Arctic University of Norway). Taught in English by prominent researchers in the field, the programme addresses Nordic urban planning and development in a global context, exploring distinctive perspectives on urban sustainability, mobility, ‘smart' cities, welfare, citizen empowerment and more.

Core training across the three universities is combined with opportunities to specialise at each. Emphasis is given to equipping students to deal with real-life problems and challenges, including through group and individual research projects. By moving between three universities and countries, including through attending a field course on Arctic cities, participants will become skilled at working collaboratively and imaginatively with diverse communities, organisations, companies and municipalities.

More information is here: www.ruc.dk/en/nups<http://www.ruc.dk/en/nups>. Please note that the application deadline for EU/EEA and Swiss students is 1 March 2019. The deadline for non-EU/EEA students is 15 January, except for those exempt from paying tuition fees for whom it is also 1 March (see link on admissions for details).

With best wishes,

David
