Dear Students,

 

I am excited to announce a three-week summer program in Japan in May 2019.

This program will take students to seven major cities to explore popular culture in Japan and gain insight into some of the pressing social and political problems facing contemporary Japan.

 

Dates:                         May 9 – 29, 2019

 

Course:                       Popular Culture in Japan

JAPA 413: Topics in Japanese Literature

MFLL 300: Global Texts & Cultures

ASST/GEOG 491: Foreign Study 

This course is taught in English, and may also count for 491 Foreign Study in other departments. 

Please check with your own departments.

 

Credit hours:               3 UTK credit hours
