As of Friday, September 28, 2018, there were over 193,000 Veterans and their family members awaiting payments and decisions for VA education benefits. This represents a 56.5% increase in pending workload as compared to this time last year.

If you have submitted the required paperwork to our office before mid-September and have not received ANY payment (i.e. book stipend, tuition payment, BAH) or are experiencing an extreme hardship due to no GI Bill payments, please email the VRC.

FOR THOSE WHO WERE ON ACTIVE DUTY WHEN THEY APPLIED FOR THE GI BILL BUT ARE NOW SEPARATED: Please ensure that the VA is aware that you have separated. You will need to contact them to verify. You may also need to upload a copy of your DD-214 to the VA. You will receive instructions about that once you have contacted them. The direct line to the education department is 1-888-442-4551.

Additionally, please see the attached letter from VA Director of Education Service, Robert Worley.
