Don’t miss out on these upcoming children’s services online workshops from Amigos Library Services.

Diversify Your Programming with Bilingual Storytime – November 14, 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm Central. Does your library serve a growing population of foreign-language speakers? Or a community of native English speakers that want their children to learn a second language? Whatever population you are serving, bilingual storytime is a great way to engage with your community! This course will cover steps for creating a bilingual storytime, strategies for attracting patrons, and useful resources for developing your event. Register today at: https://www.amigos.org/node/5274.

Tips for Hosting a Game Night in Your Library – December 12, 10:30 – 12:00 pm Central. Who doesn't love a good game night? Although we may not always think of them this way, games are a form of story telling, just in a different format! Libraries and librarians have the opportunity to provide patrons with stories and information through games - in a variety of ways. This course will cover how to plan and host a game night in your library, choosing the theme or unique game for your library, how game nights align with your library's mission, and how to best market your event. Early bird registration ends November 20. Register today at: https://www.amigos.org/node/5275.
