The Friends of Tennessee Libraries welcome you to the 13th annual Friends of Libraries Week, October 21-27.  Friends of Libraries Week is an opportunity to celebrate work of existing Friends groups, to invite new members to join and participate, and for library staff and trustees to recognize the Friends for their help and support of the library.

Currently, Tennessee is the only state whose Governor and Secretary of State recognizes the work of volunteer Friends serving their local community through library services.  Our thanks for their support of libraries.

So, enjoy the week and give a hug to your library Friends.

And please let us know how your library celebrated Friends this week?
