The twenty third Groupoidfest will be held at the
Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science
at the University of Illinois at Chicago
on the weekend of November 10 & 11.
The latest updates to the conference plans are here:
http://www.math.uic.edu/~hurder/groupoidfest2018/All talks and the teas will be held in room 636 in the Science and Engineering Offices (SEO) building on the East Campus. Links to maps and more details are posted on the web page.
There are still opportunities to give a talk. Please send an email to
[log in to unmask] if you are interested in giving a talk. Even better, include a title and abstract.
As always, there is no registration fee required, and no charge for conference Tea & Coffee & Refreshments.
Chicago is well-served by airlines and expressways, so it is likely that cheap flights to the city are available to either O'Hare or Midway Airports. The web page describes how to get from the airports to the city and the UIC East Campus.
There is a list of hotels near to UIC listed on the web page, and when I checked yesterday, they were still offering discounted rates. There are many hotels available in Chicago, but please be sure to check the location of a place you are interested in booking before choosing it just for the rate. Email Steve or Olga with any questions.
We look forward to seeing you all here next month!
