2019 UT Organic Farm Internship Program

Applications are open for the 2019 UT Organic
Farm/VSA Internship program! All majors
and backgrounds are welcome! The VOL Supported Agriculture (VSA) student interns
will work full time at UT's Organic Crops Unit and take part in UT's very own CSA program beginning in May 2019! These are paid intern
positions! Interns will receive class credit and gain hands-on experience in: organic crop production, field preparation, marketing, customer relations,
organic pest control and fertilization methods, food safety practices, succession planting, social media management, small equipment operation, and more! Produce grown will be delivered to subscribed members of the VSA every week for 20 weeks. Selected applicants
must register for PLSC 492 and PLSC 275 for spring 2019. If interested, please contact Samantha Flowers
