 Many students make volunteerism a key part of their university experience. With Hands On Nashville’s AmeriCorps Program, they can continue their service, while also gaining real-life experience in the nonprofit sector.

Hands On Nashville is currently recruiting 7 AmeriCorps Members for a year-long term, beginning October 2018. Hands On Nashville will host 3 members; other members will serve at environmentally-focused nonprofits.

 

Roles include: 

- Education and outreach

- Volunteer event management 

- Community relations 

- Program development

AmeriCorps Members are part of a national network of service programs that focus on improving communities and fostering civic engagement. As part of Hands On Nashville’s AmeriCorps Program, members will receive skills training, professional development, and networking opportunities through a partnership with HON and HON AmeriCorps Program partner agencies. The program also offers at $14,530 living stipend and a $5,185 education award (granted at the end of the term).
