This is an entry level position working at the Bears Bluff National Fish
Hatchery, near Charleston, SC. No relocation, but what do you expect for
an entry level position? This is an amazing hatchery with great
partnerships with the state of SC. Work at Bears Bluff deals with American
shad restoration, managing the 4 VERY LARGE Atlantic sturgeon that are held
there and spawn all by themselves in response to water temp and diurnal
changes, cobia, and striped bass among other projects, like shoreline
stabilization and habitat restoration. Good place to get your first job.
The Project Leader is one of our best.
