The FWS Pacific Region, Fish and Aquatic Conservation Program is recruiting two new veterinarians (GS-0701-11/12) to oversee the health of fish, primarily Pacific salmon, on federal and tribal fish hatcheries in Lacey, WA (in the area of Olympia, WA the state capital) and Willard, WA (in the Columbia River Gorge scenic area). These veterinarians will be responsible for preventing and managing fish disease outbreaks and will work closely with hatchery managers and partners to protect the health of both wild and hatchery origin fish.
