All, In August Auburn had a visit from the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) ---- they were here to conduct an on-site Civil Rights Management Evaluation (CRME). The evaluation was to determine how well Auburn University is continuing to fulfill its Civil Rights/Equal Opportunity obligations with FAS-funded agreements. The evaluation focused on five of our grants. Ann, I can certainly share more; however, we are waiting on the report --- to me, it was a semi-review that included the same things the others have done. Sure missed not seeing everyone this Fall in Charleston! I have a quick question. Louisiana has been notified we will have a NIFA Civil Rights Review at the end of November. It will be on research programs. Has any other state had a research program Civil Rights Review in the last couple of years? If so, will you be willing to share your experience?
