Interested in having a broader impact on library services? Like the idea of getting out of the library building and out into the field of public library leadership and consultation? Have a heart for small
and rural libraries? Sounds like you would make a great team member at the Falling Water River Regional Library System (see yellow counties on map).
We are looking for a new Assistant Director to provide guidance, leadership, and training to the public libraries in this 14 county region, headquartered in Cookeville, Tennessee (home of Tennessee Tech University).
Cookeville is located in the heart of middle Tennessee, and is within driving distance to Nashville. Many of the counties of the Falling Water River Regional Library service area are mostly located on the Cumberland Plateau, known for its great natural beauty,
parks, and recreation areas.
If you are interested in helping move public library service forward over a broad spectrum and working with a great team, please consider applying for the position of Assistant Director at the Falling Water
River Regional Library. The full job description, with details and instructions for applying is attached to this email.
Kindest regards,
Lynette S. Sloan, Director of Regional Libraries
