for those of you out there maybe looking for a different experience and you
have some field work as a fisheries person, I recommend your consideration
of checking out these vacancies with the Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission. If you don't already have a MS degree, and even if you do,
you'll feel like you have earned one working for FERC. Yes, many consider
FERC to be the big bad federal agency that does evil stuff to our rivers,
but this is your opportunity to learn about mitigation and influence how
energy is extracted from our resources and ensure the resources we love are
protected and managed properly.

if you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me. I
worked at FERC for a little over 2 years. It changed my career
dramatically.
