Dear Colleagues:

This email is to members of the Executive Board of UT’s Normandy Scholars Program (https://normandy.utk.edu/) and Directors of Graduate Study from departments that particpate in this program. I would kindly ask that you circulate to your graduate students the attached ad for a GTA position for the spring and May miniterm. It was distributed earlier but we have yet to receive any applications, so we’re cast the net a bit broader. For the Normandy Scholars Program’s first iteration last year, Claire Mayo, PhD candidate in the History Department, filled this position and I know it was a valuable professionalization experience for the teaching assistantship and study abroad experiences it offered.

Thank you for your help with this!

Yours,
D. Magilow
