Campus Communicators,
Today a new UT policy was released that governs the use of Temporary Signage. Some members of the Office of Communications and Marketing staff, in partnership with Facilities Services, have been working on this policy for about 2 years. During the process, we received feedback from key campus partners like Student Life, Athletics and Parking and Transit, and of course buy-in from the Chancellor and cabinet.

The goals of the policy are to ensure that the placement of temporary signage does not damage university property or interfere with normal operations and to maintain the beauty of campus. Here's a link to today's TN Today post<https://news.utk.edu/2018/08/20/new-policy-on-temporary-signage-in-effect/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Learn%20about%20the%20new%20policy&utm_campaign=volupdate> where you can learn more about the policy (including links to the Policy and Signage Request Form.

If you have specific questions please let me know.
