The mission of the Information Products Division (IPD) is to: (1) advance access and discovery in the agricultural sciences through online products and services; (2) create new products and services that improve access to scientific discoveries; and (3) evaluate and continuously improve information products and services offered by NAL. IPD programs and partnerships deliver scientific and technical information to a wide range of customers including scientists, educators, policy makers, public officials, business and industry, farmers, and the general public. The Branch Chief for the Digital Library Branch is responsible for the enhancement of digital library programs, products, systems, and services within NAL, USDA, and the broader national and international agricultural community.
