This position is for a technical grant writer.
-
Responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to prepare and submit grant proposals.

Responsible for analyzing data and presenting it in a clear and concise manner.

In addition the job entails working on a variety of other writing projects (marketing material, interpretive reports, etc.).
-
The ideal candidate would also learn to do project management where technical support would be provided to clients.
Skills & Requirements
-
Ability to analyze and systematically compile technical and statistical information and to prepare reports and correspondence, comprehend and make inferences from written material.

Superior writing and editing skills are necessary. Ability to accurately write and proofread grant proposals, letters of intent, budget narratives, email communications, business letters, memos,
and other communications with emphasis on appropriate use of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

Ability to maintain a very high level of confidentiality including, but not limited to, client confidentiality, data analysis, and research projects being conducted.

Ability to craft funding proposals in a clear and compelling manner.
-
Proven track record in grant writing including, but not limited to, local, state, and federal government grant proposals as well as funding requests to private, community, or family foundations.
