Bachelor’s degree and one year of appropriate experience. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.

Work SchedulePrimary work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm; however, during the academic term when classes are in session the schedule may change. The schedule includes one evening a week, some late Friday hours, and some weekends on a rotating basis as a part of the schedule established for staffing the public service desk.

Additional Working ConditionsPosition requires some standing, walking, climbing on step ladders, and reaching. Incumbent must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 pounds. Responsibilities may require pushing and/or pulling wheeled book trucks full of books and weighing up to 300 lbs.

May supervise student assistants assigned to the department especially during evening and weekend hours. May supervise staff on some projects. Assists with training of other staff and students, as needed.
