Work Schedule

Primary work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm; however, during the academic term when classes are in session the schedule may change. The schedule includes one evening a week, some late Friday hours, and some weekends on a rotating basis as a part of the schedule established for staffing the public service desk.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Additional Working Conditions

Position requires some standing, walking, climbing on step ladders, and reaching. Incumbent must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 pounds. Responsibilities may require pushing and/or pulling wheeled book trucks full of books and weighing up to 300 lbs.
