This workshop is part of the TN AgrAbility Project and it is free for attendees. If any Master Gardeners are veterans or active military feel free to register online. If any Master Gardeners know of any veteran or active military that may be interested in attending this workshop please share. TN AgrAbility Project/UT Gardens Veterans' Horticultural Therapy Workshop This 6-hour workshop is designed for current military personnel and veterans. Research shows that exposure to nature and gardening has been shown to improve mental health outcomes for veterans. This workshop will explore the following: 1. Career options for veterans and opportunities to learn about how TN AgrAbility Project can assist veterans. 2. Hands-on gardening/horticulture activities that can help assist veterans when starting a career in horticulture/agriculture. 3. Opportunities to network with other veterans with similar interests.
