Summary: The Library Director is responsible to the Vice President of Academic Affairs for providing strong leadership in administration
of the Pellissippi State Libraries. The Library Director is responsible for all areas of library management, including personnel management and organization, strategic planning, and priority planning. The Library Director is expected to provide strong effective
advocacy both
externally and across the college, to participate in policy development, and to promote initiatives within the college, the community, and other institutions. The Library Director promotes teamwork and collegiality among library faculty and staff to provide excellent
services to all library constituencies.
