Subject: Research and Instructional Services Librarian, University of Memphis
Greetings!
The University of Memphis is hiring a
Research and Instructional Services (RIS) Librarian. It is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position
in a highly collaborative, innovative, team-oriented department focused on providing users with information literacy skills, research expertise, and general excitement for free library stuff! We're growing our online instruction, expanding our information
literacy sessions to meet larger audiences, and getting more folks using the library’s resources both inside and outside our walls!
Memphis is a low-cost verdant city that works hard and plays hard – folks here grit and grind! Memphis offers you tons of music (ranging
from blues to classical), food (from BBQ to vegan), and events (from opera to basketball). There are great amenities as well: independent local bookstores, farmers’ markets, festivals, and world-class healthcare. Memphis is full of of creative and entrepreneurial
outlets. Constantly and consistently improving and growing, Memphis is a
great place to live!
