Dear Friends and Good People -

Well, another FOTL Annual Meeting has come to a close. And what a terrific experience it was!

Attached is an Overview of our meeting events, along with a Summary of the Evaluation Comments.

If you have any additional comments to share, please let me know.

Although Lynette Sloan had last minute family issues that prevented her from attending, she has sent along her attached handout about progress on the new State Library construction at the Jefferson Street end of the Bicentennial Mall. We also have a fuller description of the project on our website at TSLA New Building Plans <http://www.friendstnlibraries.org/wp-content/uploads/WebsiteTSLA-New-Building-Proposal-9Apr2017.pdf> / http://www.friendstnlibraries.org/wp-content/uploads/WebsiteTSLA-New-Building-Proposal-9Apr2017.pdf <http://www.friendstnlibraries.org/wp-content/uploads/WebsiteTSLA-New-Building-Proposal-9Apr2017.pdf>

Also, check out the TSLA chart of Tennessee’s Income per capita counties compared to Library Appropriations per capita counties at: http://tsla.libguides.com/ld.php?content_id=39129868 <http://tsla.libguides.com/ld.php?content_id=39129868>

Thank you to the veteran and new Friends who attended the meeting. For those who couldn’t attend, you missed a joyful, learning (and very tasty) experience - we hope you’ll be able to join us next year.

In the meantime, enjoy the reports - Don
