Hello!

Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) in Charlotte, NC is looking for an E-Learning Librarian. The position will be located on CPCC's Central Campus.

The CPCC Library is committed to supporting students, faculty, and staff with the best possible information services at each of its seven (7) physical campus locations as well as online. We directly support and strengthen teaching and learning by continually developing innovative student and learning-centered collections, services, and environments that lead to lifelong educational development.

This position provides reference and instructional services to both faculty and students in a predominantly online context, including supervision and responsibility for projects and part-time staff.

E-Learning Responsibilities:

* Provides library instruction and support for online classes (embedded librarianship)
* Maintains expertise of distance/online learning trends and standards
* Conducts one-on-one research consultations with students
* Creates and maintains outward-facing library tutorials and maintains repository
* Co-Coordinates online chat, FAQ, and email reference programming
* Admin for LibGuides, participates in regular maintenance and support
* Liaison to various academic programs
* Participates as co-liaison to eLearning Department
* Consults on tutorial and LibGuide development with Instruction librarians
