Assistant Professor, Research & Instruction Librarian 


The Lila D. Bunch Library at Belmont University is seeking applications for
a 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant
Professor beginning August 1, 2018.  

Job responsibilities include:

*        Coordinating information literacy instruction for BELL Core writing
courses

*        Engaging with faculty to design creative research assignments that
employ digital technologies

*        Serving as liaison to Humanities departments, Social Sciences
departments, and the College of Theology and Christian Ministry, providing
integrated instruction and collection development

*        Teaching general education library instruction classes

*        Participating in academic advising for undeclared students; and
performing other duties as assigned.  

Education: ALA-accredited Master's Degree in Library or Information Science
is required; a second advanced degree in relevant area is preferred.
