Dear IS PhD Students,
Please join us for the last SIS public lecture and discussion of the semester on April 27th from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the
Scripps Theater. Our guest will be Dr. Ericka Patillo, associate dean of libraries at Appalachian State University, who will present her research about the academic library middle manager role: https://www.sis.utk.edu/patillo-lecture-what-does-“middle-management”-mean-academic-libraries
We will host a special lunch for Dr. Patillo with SIS Faculty and PhD students from
11:30-12:45 in Scripps Conference Room. Please RSVP to Pamela Durban if you would like to attend this lunch by the end of the day tomorrow (April 24th).
The lunch starts at 11:30 in case anyone also wants to attend the IS PhD student dissertation defense at noon.
