Dear AFE Orlando Fire Congress Participant,

By now, most of you are well on your way to your next conference or workshop, but I wanted to take one more opportunity to thank you all for your significant contributions to the AFE International Fire Congress in Orlando late last year. We now have both the recorded sessions and research highlights for your viewing pleasure through the AFE website.

1.       All Plenary and Fire AFEx talks, as well as presentations in four Special Sessions and one workshop, were recorded by a University of Florida IFAS film crew. Their editing was completed in January and the recordings are available at https://fireecology.org/2017-Videos.  You are welcome to use them in training workshops, educational events, or other learning experiences – we just ask that you let us know how you use them so we can track the benefits of that project.

2.       If you submitted a Research Highlight, please find your PDF at https://fireecology.org/2017-highlights and review/proof it for any errors. Send any changes to Annie at [log in to unmask].  If you didn’t submit a research highlight, you have a second chance! Please check out the webpage and see the list of highlights. You’ll also find the submission link there. It would be great to fill in the topics and special sessions with more highlights. Please note that this option is available to all those with an accepted abstract, whether or not you were able to attend the conference. As with the videos, we intended that these highlights be resources you can use.
