We have an evening supervisor position open in The Studio that might be of interest to graduate students. This position is the 2nd shift supervisor of The Studio Media Production Lab. The person in this position is vested with supervisory and operational responsibilities including responsibility for a media lab, in-depth audio and video consulting services, and user instruction. The position supervises operations in The Studio, during the 2nd shift, including supervision of students working in the Studio. Provides basic troubleshooting for Studio computers and media source equipment. This position works closely with other library staff to provide instructional and creative services. Provides assistance and instruction to public and staff on educational uses and applications of multimedia computer equipment, software, and production processes. Provides direction of consulting desk services and the student employees who provide them. Advises team on service issues and recommends approaches for successful and innovative service delivery. Contributes to the mission of Learning, Research, and Engagement through special projects and interactions.
