THIRTY-FIFTH ANNUAL WORKSHOP IN GEOMETRIC TOPOLOGY

The next Workshop in Geometric Topology will be held at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, June 14 - 16, 2018.  The principal speaker will be Professor Andras Stipsicz of the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics in Budapest.  He will give a series of three lectures on the following topics:
   Lecture 1: Invariants of knots and links
   Lecture 2: Knot Floer homology
   Lecture 3: The Upsilon function of knots

In addition to the main lectures, there will be contributed talks by participants as well as ample time for less formal interaction between participants.

NSF funds will allow the workshop to provide travel support for graduate students and researchers without other means of support.  The deadline for travel support requests is May 1, 2018.
