Campus Communicators—
The Big Orange Family Campaign kicks off this week! As UT's communicators, we hope you will help us promote this month-long
initiative to encourage philanthropy among faculty and staff at UT. The campaign will run through February 5-March 2.
Faculty and staff have a strong history of giving back in many ways to the university. Last year, faculty and staff moved the employee giving percentage to over 52 percent. We hope you will help us surpass that goal
this year!
Attached is a communications toolkit to help. Campaign logos

Below are some ideas for promotion:
- Share the campaign video on social media and use the hashtag #BigOrangeFamily.
- Post updates or milestones met in your unit or department using #BigOrangeFamily.
- Use key message and facts found in the toolkit on social media. Examples:
- More than 2,400 faculty and staff made a gift to UT last year.
- 53% of gifts to the university were under $100. Every gift makes a difference!
- UT annually awards a total of $47.4 million in financial aid.
- More than 2,400 faculty and staff made a gift to UT last year.
- Encourage philanthropy among faculty and staff in your department.
