This 90-minute, highly interactive workshop will give you tools you can use right away to make the most of every employment opportunity.

Sneak Peek: A College of Arts & Sciences Preview Night

February 5, 2018, 6:30-8 PM

Ray Mears Room, Thompson-Boling Arena

  *   Intended for juniors and seniors in the College of Arts and Sciences
  *   You will have a chance to meet employers interested in hiring Arts and Sciences majors, learn about their organizations and opportunities, and practice your networking skills prior to the Spring Job and Internship Fair on Tuesday.
  *   The Sneak Peak is designed to be a semi-structured speed networking event. The 8-10 invited employers will each have their own tables. Groups of 6-8 students will rotate between each of the tables, giving you a chance to listen and learn and to share your story with organizations! The structured, yet relaxed setting will give you a chance to engage with organizations prior to the Spring Job and Internship Fair.
  *   Dress is business casual. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

  *   The annual College of Architecture and Design Career Day brings design firms, industry representatives and professional agencies from around the region and nation who are seeking students and recent alumni for full-time entry-level positions, internships or summer jobs. Career Day is open to both undergraduate and graduate students in the three design programs of architecture, landscape architecture and interior architecture/design. This event is a valuable networking opportunity to building lasting relationships with representatives from the design industry.
