Social Sciences and Data Librarian San Diego State University San Diego, CA San Diego State University Library & Information Access seeks applications and nominations of dynamic, innovative, and service-oriented candidates for the position of Social Sciences and Data Librarian. The Social Sciences and Data Librarian will provide outreach, research consultation, and library instruction in social science disciplines. The incumbent will support research data services across the disciplines, growing and promoting Library services related to the discovery, evaluation, and manipulation of data and the use of statistical or other analytical tools for quantitative and qualitative data. This position carries formal subject liaison responsibilities, including collection development, in one or several social science departments. This position is appointed at the Senior Assistant Librarian rank. Salary commensurate with experience. This position will remain open until filled. Review will begin immediately.
