All, As champions of free and open information, I know you care about Net Neutrality and were as outraged as I was when the FCC chairman repealed Net Neutrality despite the overwhelming number of bipartisan opposition to this move. <http://www.publicconsultation.org/united-states/overwhelming-bipartisan-majority-opposes-repealing-net-neutrality/> But the fight isn't over yet. Senator Ed Markey, (D-MA) has filed a bill under the The Congressional Review Act, (CRA) <https://www.markey.senate.gov/news/press-releases/senator-markey-leads-resolution-to-restore-fccs-net-neutrality-rules> and has already gotten enough co-sponsors to force a vote in the Senate. *Our two senators, Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander are not among the co-sponsors.* Since this *will* be heading to a vote, we need YOU to act. (it takes less than 5 minutes, I promise) Please call our senators and ask them to "*SUPPORT THE CRA RESOLUTION OF DISAPPROVAL AND OVERTURN THE FCC'S REPEAL OF NET NEUTRALITY"* Please also mention that you are a Librarian, Information Professional, Trustee, Board Member, Library user, or library advocate—however you choose to associate yourself with libraries—just let them know where librarians and library lovers stand on this issue.
