Good afternoon,

The Congressional Affairs Update for this week is attached.

This week, Congress passed tax legislation that was signed into law today that will open up the 1002 area of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil and gas development.

Congress also passed a Continuing Resolution to continue funding for the government at current levels through January 19, 2018.

Congress adjourned for the holiday recess and will return January 3 to begin the second session of the 115th Congress.
