Our dynamic and visionary gardening products company is looking for a part-time IT Specialist to develop and manage all aspects of our information systems.

About Dalen

At Dalen Products, we provide for the unfulfilled needs of home gardeners across the country. We have developed countless products and delivered them to the market, and in 2018 we are seeking to develop innovative new product lines and to initiate a relevant online presence.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for IT software and hardware problem resolution

· Maintain our current systems and equipment

· Install new systems and equipment

· Identify tech solutions to improve comparable processes (e.g. initiate a paperless office)

· Source technology and resources

· Provide ongoing business systems and end-user needs analysis

· Order best equipment for use at lowest possible prices (PCs, laptops, cell phones, printers, etc.)

· Assess opportunities to use technology to make people and departments more effective and productive, and identify technological solutions for those activities

· Perform regular backups and inventory assistance

· Take responsibility for web domains, management of DNS, and renewal of said domains

· Assist employees with both personal and business technological needs and issues
