Apologies for the cross-posting... LibGig, a LAC Group organization, seeks a Research Librarian for a law firm in the Rochester NY area. The position would report to the Director of Libraries and Research Services, and works as part of a team of information professionals to conduct legal, business and other non-legal research on behalf of legal staff and clients. The Research Librarian also manages the firm's continuing legal education services. RESPONSIBILITIES * Performs, legal, business and other non-legal research and preliminary analysis in an innovative and timely manner for attorneys, clients and staff * Participates on a team of researchers who collaborate to provide cost effective information solutions * Independently analyzes information from diverse resources to provide suggestions and solutions * Manages CLE services for firm attorneys, including credit tracking, coordinating in-house programs, and providing training * Serves as library liaison to practice groups * Works on special projects as needed QUALIFICATIONS * MLS or equivalent degree required * At least 2 years of legal research experience including knowledge of electronic resources such as Westlaw, Lexis, etc. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications To apply, please visit: https://goo.gl/xV7K9X Katy Davis Recruiting Assistant LibGig - LAC Group (323)302-9432 [log in to unmask]
