Don't let Perfection become the enemy of GOOD.  Paul Ryan

"Power isn't control at all--power is strength, and giving that strength to others. A leader isn't someone who forces others to make him stronger; a leader is someone willing to give his strength to others that they may have the strength to stand on their own."

Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Bureau of Reclamation and American Membrane Technology Association Announce Fellowship Funding Opportunities for Membrane Technology

Graduate students pursuing a full-time masters or Ph.D. at a university or college in the United States with focused innovations for water treatment using membrane-related research are eligible to apply for these fellowship opportunities.

WASHINGTON - Bureau of Reclamation and American Membrane Technology Association are seeking nominees for graduate student fellowships to utilize innovative membrane technology research to study water treatment and desalination systems. These fellowships will consist of competed awards given to graduate students pursuing a full-time masters or Ph.D. at a university or college in the United States conducting research in innovations for water treatment in membrane-related research.

Reclamation and AMTA are collaborating to provide funding opportunities for addressing the need to reduce the cost, energy usage and environmental impacts associated with advanced water treatment and desalination utilizing membrane technology. These fellowships are focused on new innovation or optimization of existing technology.

Applications are due Thursday, November 30, 2017, by 2:00 p.m. EST.

Membrane technology innovation is necessary to increase the viability of desalination and advanced water treatment as a means of increasing water supply in arid regions, such as the western United States. Research must pertain to the advancement of membrane technologies in the water, wastewater, or water reuse industries. Funding is provided by the American Membrane Technology Association and the Bureau of Reclamation.
