Hello all,

I am writing to let you know about an exciting opportunity to meet this year's Geography Awareness Week's keynote speaker, Hilda Kurtz.  TWIG (Tennessee Women in Geography) will be hosting a reception for Dr. Kurtz from 10am - 12pm, Thursday (November 16) in the Geography Student Community Outreach room of BGB (room 104).  Please come by, talk with Dr. Kurtz, network with other geographers, and enjoy some refreshments.

This is also to remind you of Dr. Kurtz's talk, which will be held at 3:40pm Thursday, in the Hodges Library auditorium.  There she will be lecturing on "#TakeaKnee, Embodied Protest and Symbolic Space."  It should be super exciting!!  There will also be a reception before this talk, beginning at 3pm.  Please come by as well!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
