Azaleas are more than a
harbinger of spring. All across the Southeast masses of red, white, pink and purple azaleas boldly proclaim that the season has arrived. Many people think azaleas come in just four colors, and some may even criticize them as commonplace. Discriminating gardeners know better.

Plan for your spring now and join the UT Gardens, Knoxville and national authority on azaleas and rhododendrons, Don Hyatt, for a half-day symposium on all things azalea.

Learn how to be successful growing native and Asian evergreen azaleas, what selections are ideal for our region, and how best to use them in your landscape. As fall is the time for planting, an azalea sale with choice cultivars grown and selected by noted azalea grower Vivian Abney will be held after the symposium.

*Symposium includes education, coffee break, and early entrance to azalea sale.
**Plant inventory is limited; arrive early for best selection. Sale may end before 2:00 if plants sell out.

Program and more details are located on our website.

**Please refer to our cancellation policy prior to registering**

Assorted azaleas will be available for purchase at the sale, but you can also pre-order certain selections in advance (to be picked up at the sale). You do not have to attend the symposium to place a pre-order. You can view a list of the varieties available for pre-order complete with descriptions (pdf). You can also view photos of the different selections (pdf).

**Selecting the button below will re-direct you to our eMarketplace. For pre-sale selections, click the 'Add to Cart' button at the bottom of that page. This will open a new page with the option to select specific cultivars located toward the bottom of the page. Choose one cultivar at a time and then click 'Continue' at the bottom of the page. You will be able to adjust the quantity of that cultivar on the following page. If you wish to purchase additional cultivars, click 'Continue Shopping' and repeat the above steps with each cultivar you want to buy.
