Apologies for the cross-posting... LibGig, an LAC Group company, seeks an experienced Patent Researcher for a long term temporary position at a prestigious international law firm. The work will be performed at the firm's Denver office and will cover research requests for the Western half of the U.S. Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive research and reference services, with emphasis on patent research * Provide training and support of research, particularly in the use of IP research tools * Assist users in the selection and use of online research tools * Complete legislative histories and biographies * Participate in developing and collecting intranet resources * Work with various practice groups and the marketing department on competitive intelligence resources * Monitor online databases for practice-specific information * Process interlibrary loans and other administrative responsibilities as assigned Qualifications * MLS or equivalent advanced degree required; Experience can be substituted for advanced degree * Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate setting performing primarily patent research * Experience with a variety of online research tools, including Bloomberg BNA, Proquest Dialog, Docket Navigator, Westlaw, Orbit, Patbase and CCH Intelliconnect * Proficiency in using library OPAC * Excellent research and analysis skills and ability to summarize and communicate research findings to attorneys and other personnel * Superior oral and written communication skills To apply, please visit: https://goo.gl/BJygpN Katy Davis Recruiting Assistant LibGig - LAC Group (323)302-9432
