This opening is for a part-time page in the AV collection at Lawson McGhee Library, in downtown Knoxville. It's a mile from campus. Pay is modest, but so are the demands. This library system often fills librarian positions from within. So if an SIS student with an interest in public libraries wished, they could see a lot and learn a lot from this position, and be eligible to advance when that time comes. I am a senior assistant in this department. It's a terrific collection with a great staff.
