Maryville is a great community to live in. –Kitty) Position: Media Specialist/Librarian • Details – Full-time with benefits • Application Deadline – May 31, 2017 Education, Certification and Related Work Experience: • Certification – Librarian Certification K-12. • Qualities of a Desired Candidate Include: o Montgomery Ridge representative on Maryville City Library Committee o Design of 4-7th program and curriculum for Library classes (rotated on encore schedule) with a focus on Research Standards from the 4-7 ELA Curriculum. o Work collaboratively with library staff to create a technology-infused media center o Program Development including resource acquisition, procedures and processes o Resource development, including grants, partnerships, and other funding sources as needed o Development of library collections and organization o Communication and collaboration on assigned Intermediate School Team o Facilitation of and support for School Wide Literacy Program and Initiatives (One Book Blitz) o Facilitation and support for academic teaching staff with resources and technology All interested parties should submit a letter of interest and resume by May 31, 2017 to Kevin Myers, Principal, Montgomery Ridge Intermediate School ([log in to unmask]).
