Two deadline announcements involving undergraduates or faculty who mentor undergraduate researchers. Also, as a reminder, today is the Office of Undergraduate Research Open House from 2-6 pm and is open to faculty, staff, and students. Exhibition of Research and Creative Achievement EURçCA The 21st Annual Exhibition of Research and Creative Achievement (EURçCA) will be held April 17-21. We encourage submissions from all students who have conducted faculty mentored research either inside of outside of the classroom. (Our acceptance guidelines for in class projects has changed – read more here<http://eureca.utk.edu/eureca-and-research-compliance/>.) Work submitted to EURçCA can be in the form of completed projects, projects in data collection, or projects at the literature review or methodology stage. Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium The 8th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium will be held on April 1, 2017, at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The Symposium offers students from every discipline the opportunity to give a brief oral research presentation to their peers. The Symposium is organized by and for undergraduates from every discipline and, as such, offers a wide scope of exposure to research in a setting that is less intimidating than professional conferences. The Symposium is an ideal venue for students presenting their research for the first time, while also serving as an equally great opportunity for more experienced presenters.
