The World Resources Institute has an opening for a paid GIS internship in our Energy Program:

 

The World Resources Institute is seeking candidates for a Geographic Information System (GIS) intern to assist the Energy Program. The GIS Intern will support the Energy team in preparing data and developing content for the Energy Access Market maps. The Energy Access market maps are a platform to help understand where the greatest need for electricity is (that is where households do not have access to data), where infrastructure exists (in terms of micro grids and transmission lines) and where market conditions exist (that is where the socio economic data for households is relatively buoyant). The data from energy access market maps is drawn from public sources such as Census data & Utility infrastructure data.
